Best Time To Visit in Jodhpur

Between October and March is the best time to go to Jodhpur. The weather is beautiful right now, with highs between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius every day. Now is a terrific time to get outside and see the sights and do other things. The city is close to the Thar Desert; therefore, it could be scorching in the summer, with temperatures soaring over 45°C from April to June. Such heat makes it hard and tiring to go outside. The monsoon season lasts from July to September. It rains a lot, and the temperatures drop, but the weather can shift fast and ruin trip plans. But in the winter, it's fascinating to explore the forts, take walking tours, ride camels, and go to colorful events like the Rajasthan International Folk Festival (RIFF) and the Marwar Festival. The nights in the desert are beautiful and cool at this time of year. During peak season, more people visit, so it's better to reserve your hotel and transportation tickets ahead of time. The light and temperature in winter make it the best time for photographers and culture lovers to experience Jodhpur's blue colours and sparkling landscapes. Plan your trip for the colder months so you can enjoy yourself and learn about the culture.

1. Ideal Season – October – March: It's a great time to go outside and see everything in the winter. The days are bright and sunny, the nights are cold, and the evenings are gorgeous in the desert. The warmth makes it a fantastic time to explore forts and marketplaces.

 2. Marwar Festival (Oct):
This traditional festival has singing, dancing, and things to do with camels. If you can, don't miss the Kausalya holiday. They offer personalised travel packages that incorporate festival activities.

 3. Avoid Peak Summer:
The temperature goes beyond 40°C from April to June. This time frame isn't suitable for walking tours or trips that take all day, especially if you're not used to the heat of the desert.

 4. Monsoon Charm – July to September: Jodhpur's grass turns greener, and the fort appears gorgeous and dreamy while it's still warm. Hotels are cheaper and places are quieter when there are fewer tourists.

 5. Festive Peak – December: Many people want items during the time between Christmas and New Year's. If you're coming this time of year, especially with family or many people, be sure to plan your vacation and where you'll stay ahead of time.

 6. Desert Safari Season: The greatest time to go to the Bishnoi hamlet and embark on desert safaris in Osian is in the winter. You may ride in jeeps, hike on camels, and spend the night in campgrounds that offer cultural events and food.

 7. Year-Round Local Life:
The temples, food stalls, and markets are always bustling with people. Even in the off-season, anyone who goes to Jodhpur will have a real experience and enjoy amazing treatment.
