We have the soul transforming and refreshing Char Dham Yatra circuit is the only way to heal both your body and your soul. This is not only an opportunity to develop a divine Connection which will eventually result in your ability to unwind for many years. Since the past thousands of years there have been innumerable seekers, sages, devotees who visit the Char Dham circuit, for centuries. As you travel, you not only get to witness the mighty four holy shrines including Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath but also a relaxation day at Jim Corbett.
You will be starting from Haridwar, the doorway to spiritual connections. This is where the holiest river in India, namely river Ganga receives its first breath from the glacier face. You will begin your journey at Haridwar - the door to the land of sacredness and the first time the Ganges River touches the plains. As the Ganges flows through this sacred mountain, the Garhwal Himalayas, it will take its plunge into several holy confluences. For many years, this conference has attracted many seekers. This is the main attraction in the entire town and it creates holiness in every area of the entire town. Afterwards you will reach Yamunotri where the sister of the God of Death will help free any person from a premature death. This entire journey will be extremely experiential due to the beautiful scenery within the sacred areas of the Garhwal Himalayas. You will be able to visit each of the four Holy Dhams of the Char Dham Circuit including Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
This is a very unique package, as it consists not only of the four Dhams but also Jim Corbett for relaxation and healing. You may consider this as grace time as well as self-discovery. Thus, we call it a complete package as your devotees get to experience all 3 aspects of your Being that is Mind, Body & Spirit. Each The Dham represents an integral aspect of spiritual Hindu mythology and has its own significance. All of the Dham create a synergy of experiences designed to create a pathway to realising/divine consciousness through realising one’s true self. All the Dham also contain the potential for providing spiritual energy that will facilitate the devotees' spiritual purification.
The first Dham you will visit is Yamunotri, which is the source of the river Yamuna. It is also regarded as the spiritual home of goddess Yamuna. It is set amidst the Himalayan mountain range and is considered to be the gateway to eternal life. There is a hot spring nearby where devotees make offerings, creating a feeling of purity throughout the Dham.
Then another Dham will be Gnagotri. The most holy river flows from here. It is believed that Ganga is the most holy river on the planet. It is also referred as Mother Ganga and is considered the lifeline of humanity. Gangotri is in the Himalayas, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. It’s also a place where spirituality, holiness, and forgiveness for sins can be found. Many people believe that the Ganges River has the power to cleanse us of our past sins.
Kedarnath is one of the most bucketlisted places for many people. It is one of the sacred places of worship in the world. You might have heard of Jyotirlingas. Kedarnath is the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva and is the site of the most important pilgrimage in India, the Char Dham. The shrine of Kedarnath holds great historical and cultural importance. Legend has it that the temple can magically transform to accommodate local needs. The temple has stood for a very long time and it radiates spirituality and holiness from within itself. When you visit the shrine, you will also see the Akhand Jyoti also known as the eternal flame. It has a very high sacred value, it has been burning continuously for six months despite the harshest conditions during winter, without seeing a human being while snow caps the entire area. In addition to looking up at the stars in the glacial valleys, the morning aarti just after dawn when the sunrise first touches the Kedarnath peak through the door of the temple is what makes the Dham so special.
Lastly, the ultimate dham among the four is Badrinath. Badrinath represents Lord Vishnu also known as the preserver of the Universe. Badrinath shrine is located next to the River Alaknanda. The mountain behind Badrinath is the large Neelkanth Peak. When you visit Badrinath, you must first bathe in Taptkund, a natural hot spring to purify yourself before entering the temple. Bathing in the sacred waters will cleanse both your body and spirit. The experience of visiting Lord Badri Narayan Badrinath is very fulfilling.
By adding Jim Corbett after your trip to Holy Dhams, the trip is officially made complete. You will feel the smooth transition from summit to Jungle. Did you know there is an interesting story about Jim Corbett? The legendary Jim Corbett, who turned from hunter to conservationist, was dedicated to the forests where he lived. He is therefore the natural counterpart of the sacred architecture offered through the Chardham temples. The legacy of Jim Corbett's conservation is that he is the first person to publicly advocate for wildlife conservation in India. From Chardham to Jim Corbett is not a change of topic, but a change of register, it is a continuation of the same sacred conversation from God to the forest, with a voice older, wilder and equally real than that of a past temple at 3,583 metres.
