Accident, Medical Emergency & Liability Policy

Kausalya Trip India, being a renowned tour operator works as a facilitator who provides you transportation, accommodation, sightseeing and other travel related services that are required to complete the trip successfully. We organise successful tours in mountains and like CahrDahm yatra or Uttarakhand tour packages and many remote areas that involves certain kind of risks and offers certain responsibility on the travellers. Let’s have a look at those. 

Traveler’s  Responsibility
As the high mountain regions require physical fitness to enjoy the trip, all guests are responsible for their own physical fitness and booking of the trip must be done after check up with a doctor. If the traveller has any pervious history of hill sickness, then he is booking the trip on his own risk. Trekking trips must be considered after your doctor suggests you to join the trip. 

Travel Insurance
Kausalya Trip India, strongly suggests all the travellers to purchase compatible travel insurance before booking the trip. This will help you in arising from accidents or illness or rescue operations or medical treatment that occurs during the trip. So that any emergency expanses occurring during the trip due to medical treatment or accidental situation can be handled by the insurance policy. 

Medical Emergencies
Kausalya Trip India will provide full cooperation and help during the emergency situation during the trip. But we do not take the economic responsibility occurring due to the medical emergency. That cost will have to be borne by the traveller. It can be ambulance charges, helicopter evacuation, medicines, hospitalization or medical treatments shall have to be paid by the travellers. It is their sole responsibility. 

Limitation of Liability:
Kausalya Trip India does not hold any responsibility for any injury, accident, disability, illness or death or loos or damage or even delay or inconvenience caused during the same. 

Some examples of such cases are, 
* Road accidents: Accidents big or small during the roads, the sole responsibility of all the expenses coming out of during treatment caused during the situation. 
* Landslides or rockfalls: these are highly unpredictable and can happen any time in the hilly regions. Kausalya Trip India will fully support all the tourists during this situation but tourists will have to bear all the medical expanses occurring during this trip.
* Floods, heavy rainfall, or natural disasters: This is another unpredictable situation and I such a condition you will get all the support from our end but the expenses will be borne by you.
* Adverse weather conditions: Adverse weather conditions are also so common in Himalayan regions. 
* Acts of God: Earthquake, floods, lightening strike and such cases that are considered as Acts of God and Kausalya Trip India is not responsible in such situation. 
* Government restrictions: Government restrictions are not in our hand and in such a condition Kausalya Trip India should not be held responsible under any condition. 
* Actions or negligence of third-party service providers: third party such as accommodation providers, airline or railway delays or poor service Kausalya Trip India should not be help responsible in any way. 
* Personal negligence of the traveller: Any personal negligence from the side of traveller like the delay and missing flights or non-use of hotels of any other services we will not be hold responsible for the same. 
 

Adventure & High-Altitude Activities
The Himalayan travel includes a lot of adventure activities like the trekking, hiking, horse riding or helicopter travel or ropeway rides and also river crossings and other altitude activities. These include risks and that is solely the risk of traveller. 
 

Emergency Contact
For handling emergency, it is highly requested to all the travellers to provide us with valid contact number before starting the trip. So that we can communicate with them in case of any emergency. 
By confirming the booking with Kausalya Trip India a traveller acknowledges and also accepts all the risks associated with the same and agrees with the terms and conditions mentioned above.

Cancellation Charges Policy

1. If the booking is cancelled between 40 to 60 days before the arrival date, the company will refund you 70% of the amount according received from the guest. The refund will be processed within 7 to 14 business days after the cancellation request is approved.
2. If the booking is cancelled between 30 to 40 days before the arrival date, the company will refund 60% of the amount according received from the guest. The refund will be processed within 7 to 14 business days after the cancellation request is approved.
3. If the booking is cancelled 30 days before the arrival date, the company will refund 50% of the amount according received from the guest. The refund will be processed within 7 to 14 business days after the cancellation request is approved.
4. If the booking is cancelled 15 days before the arrival date, the company will refund 25% of the amount according received from the guest. The refund will be processed within 7 to 14 business days after the cancellation request is approved.
5. If the booking is cancelled between 7 to 15 days before the arrival date, the company will refund 10% of the amount according received from the guest. The refund will be processed within 7 to 14 business days after the cancellation request is approved.
6. If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date, no refund will be provided, company already paid for the hotels, transportation, permits, and other add-on services. All expenses done before the arrival date that’s why not-refundable.
7. If the guest has paid 30% or less of the total package cost as an advance payment, no refund will be applicable. The advance amount is used by the company operational requirements, like hotel reservations, transportation, permits, and other travel-related arrangements to be paid in all token amounts. Hence, the advance payment is non-refundable.
8. If the guest has paid only ₹2,100 per person as a token booking amount, the amount is firmly non-refundable. This token amount is used to initiate the booking process; including checking availabilities in hotels, transportation, Therefore, no refund will be applicable in case of this.
9. To be eligible for any refund under the company's refund policy, the guest must have paid at least 80% of the total package cost in advance. If the amount received by the company is less than 80% of the total package cost, refund will be applicable after deduction 30% of operational charges and would be apply refund policy in balance amount according number of days before the arrival.

Booking Confirmation & Advance Payment Policy

To confirm you’re booking with Kausalya Trip India, is easy with only an amount of ₹2,100 per person you can get a confirmation of package booking with us. This confirmation allows us to go ahead with all the other bookings like hotel, transport and other travel arrangements.

1. If a booking is cancelled due to any surprising emergency, the advance payment will be non-refundable. But, the amount paid can be adjusted towards a future tour booking with Kausalya Trip India, subject to company policy and availability.
2. Though the advance amount can be adjusted with any future trips though that is subject to availability and approval and within a valid period.
3. If the same package is booked on some other date, then the advance amount will be adjusted but the difference in the package cost will have to be paid at the time of booking new package.

5. Once your ticket booking, hotel booking and other bookings are confirmed you need to pay 50% of the package fee.
6. Rest 50% is to be paid the night before your arrival through travelers’ cheque or bank transfer.
7. Total airfare for the package has to be paid in advance and your air ticket booking will be done on receiving the payment from your end. Once air tickets are booked you will be provided with confirmed tickets.

 Cancellations Due to Natural Causes:

The organization will help you reschedule or give you partial refunds if there are landslides, terrible weather, or other natural calamities, depending on the scenario.

 Refund Processing Time:

 Refunds are executed within 7 to 10 business days of receiving written requests to withdraw, so everything is done quickly and clearly.
